English Language Skills Development Foreign Teacher, three permanent positions available Job Location: Harbin, China Contract Duration: One year with option for possible continuation Starting Date: June 1, 2017 Annual Salary: $70k-$100k
Typical work activities for the teachers include the use of a range of appropriate books and materials, plus a variety of audiovisual/digital aids. There's a strong emphasis on dialogue and role-playing, but more formal exercises, language games and literature should also be used. The content of lessons varies depending on the current level of student English language skill as well as the reason why the students are in the program learning English, e.g. whether it's for admission to an American college or to continue high school studies at a private U.S. school. The aim of the program is to encourage the students to communicate with each other daily using the structures and vocabulary they are learning, and to improve the four basic language skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing. Some classes may be offered on weekends and evening hours.

• Bachelor Degree from one of the top-30 US Universities • Music skills including but not limited to: piano or violin or guitar • Fine arts skills including studio art, digital art/graphics design • Native Speaker from the United States • American citizenship • Two years of post graduate work experience (optional) • 120-hour TEFL//TESOL/CELTA (optional) • Criminal Record Check • 5-day work week but you must be willing to work weekday nights and weekends

TASKS TEACHERS ARE EXPECTED TO PERFORM (Click to Expand)
• Planning, preparing and delivering lessons in a range of classes and different age groups • Preparing and offering tests and examinations • Reviewing and providing appropriate feedback on oral and written work • Supporting in developing necessary curriculum materials, including use of audio and visual resources • Organizing and being involved in social and cultural activities such as sports competitions, school parties, dinners and excursions • Participating in marketing events for the school • Preparing information for inspection visits and other quality assurance reviews • Teaching on a one-to-one basis as needed • Basic academic administration, such as keeping student grades and attendance records • General classroom management
